Cambodia

Yesterday was a day of travel:  4hours by motorcoach from Ha Long to Hanoi, then a 2 hour plane ride from Hanoi to Siem Reap.  We are at a 5 star Hyatt and so far have not done any exploring.  There are loads of new high end hotels here as tourism is the big driver of their economy.  None of this was here until Pol Pot was gone.  The people seem kind and gentle - >95% Buddhists.  They greet you with hands compressed together under the chin instead of the usual Asian nod.
Breakfast this morning was an eclectic mix of western (gags Benedict), pastries including soft pretzels and an assortment of dim sum.  Yummy.

Off to Angkor Wat, so expect lots of photos later.
