After a short rest, we went to the Water Puppet Theater, a unique performance of colorful puppets controlled from below a shallow puddle of water accompanied by traditional Vietnamese music. Really no way to describe it and the pictures do not do it justice. After the show, we walked around a lake at night that is closed off to motor traffic on weekends. Lots of people, vendors and street entertainers like kids building giant Jenga structures. Dinner was at a traditional restaurant with numerous courses of Vietnamese specialties.
Breakfast this morning was the incredible buffet and once again I over ate. I will probably nap on the bus to Ha Long Bay.
